Sitemap Sync Schedule

Configure how often Evergreen automatically re-syncs your sitemap and re-crawls your content

Evergreen can re-sync your project's sitemap on a schedule so your visual sitemap and content audit stay up to date without manual intervention. You can also trigger a sync on demand at any time.

Available Schedule Options

Note: Scheduled (automatic) syncing is available on the Pro plan and above. On Free and Hobby plans, only "Manual only" is available.

Setting Your Sync Schedule

  1. Go to your project's Connections page
  2. Find the Sitemap Sync panel
  3. Click Schedule to open the sync schedule dialog
  4. If your plan supports scheduled syncing, use the dropdown to select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
  5. Your selection is saved automatically — Evergreen will begin syncing according to the chosen cadence

If your current plan doesn't include scheduled syncs, the schedule options appear disabled and you'll see an Upgrade to enable scheduled syncs link. Follow it to view available plans for your organization.

Manual Sync

Regardless of your plan or schedule setting, you can always trigger an immediate sync by clicking Sync Now on the Sitemap Sync panel. Manual syncs run on demand and don't count against any schedule.

Upgrading to Enable Scheduled Syncs

To unlock Daily, Weekly, or Monthly syncing:

  1. Click the Upgrade to enable scheduled syncs link shown in the sync schedule dialog, or go to your organization's billing settings
  2. Select a Pro plan or higher
  3. Once your plan is active, reopen the Sitemap Sync Schedule dialog — the schedule options are available immediately
